San Francisco Giant Brandon Crawford Presents Danville Elementary School With Grant

DANVILLE, CA — San Francisco Giant Brandon Crawford recently presented a Danville elementary school with a grant as part of the Wells Fargo and KNBR Step Up to the Plate for Education program.

Montair Elementary School in Danville was among 25 other East Bay schools to be selected for the $5,000 grant, which will be used for literacy materials, according to the KNBR Step Up to the Plate for Education website. In the East Bay, Foothill High, Crawford's alma mater, and Vintage Hills Elementary also earned grant money this year.

Crawford, a Pleasanton native, presents students with one-hundred thousand dollars worth of grants meant to support youth education each year.
