DANVILLE, CA — A reminder that the San Ramon Valley High School community is invited to visit the campus's new three-story, 52-classroom building Thursday during an open house. The event will begin with a few remarks starting at 3:30 p.m. and the new building will be open to the public until 5 p.m. for tours. SRVHS is located at 501 Danville Blvd., in Danville.

The first SRVHS teachers are scheduled to move into their classrooms mid-May, with full occupancy expected by the start of the fall 2019 school year. The $64 million classroom building was funded with Measure D dollars—a $260 million bond measure passed by voters in 2012. Construction on the site was cleared to begin in April 2017.

After the new facility is fully completed, construction of a new parking lot between the building and the Iron Horse Trail will begin. Restoration of athletic fields—where temporary classrooms currently sit—will also commence.
