DANVILLE, CA — Danville witnessed another armed robbery in broad daylight Saturday afternoon at the Livery Shopping Center, Danville police reported.
On Saturday at about 2:44 p.m., three armed suspects reportedly robbed a man walking toward his car at gunpoint. As two of the suspects were taking the man’s watch, a witness tried to intervene. At that point, one of the suspects struck the witness with a pistol. The suspects then fled the scene.
Police did not say whether the gunfire hit the man, or if there were any injuries, though they did say officers arrived on scene and provided aid to the victim. They also did not provide any descriptions of the suspects. Patch reached out to the Danville Police Department for additional information.
