From the <a href="https://sanramon.ca.gov/cms/One.aspx?portalId=10826130&amp;pageId=11687301" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">city of San Ramon</a>: <h4>The 2026 Run San Ramon presented by the City of San Ramon is celebrating its 40th year!&nbsp; Get a healthy start to your 4th&nbsp;of July with this Independence Day Classic.&nbsp; Enjoy the paved and looped 5K/10K course through San Ramon. The Fastest Mile is an out and back. All participants will receive a short sleeve commemorative shirt, bib, and participation medal.&nbsp; The Run San Ramon is a chip timed race. </h4>Kick off America's 250th with patriotic music from Olympia Fields Brass followed by a high-energy concert featuring&nbsp;The Cheeseballs, bringing you the best of funk &amp; soul with hits from the 80's, 90's and today. Grab your friends, family, and picnic blanket for a spectacular evening of dancing, singing and summer fun. Beer, wine and food will be available from several food trucks.&nbsp;Shade structures, tents, and umbrellas will only be permitted at the top of the ridge/hill to ensure lines of sight remain open.

Honoring SRVUSD: Great schools + great students = great community!
This year’s 2026 Parade Grand Marshal, is San Ramon Valley Unified School District.
2026 marks the 51st anniversary that the Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley first began organizing and conducting the 4th of July Parade in Danville, and Kiwanis has presented a Parade every year since, including the virtual Parade that was held online in COVID year 2020. The Parade will take place along Hartz Avenue and San Ramon Valley Boulevard from approximately 9am to noon, starting at San Ramon Valley High School at Railroad Avenue. The Parade route will end at Town and Country Drive like last year. The parade can be seen from either side of the street and there is always plenty of room for everyone!

They've teamed up with local restaurant powerhouse guru Wes Aziz, who will be running the show as Operating Partner. The Jhanda family—deeply rooted in the Danville community—is stepping in with one goal: keep everything locals love about Primos, while breathing in new life where it counts. Think: the same welcoming vibe, comfort classics on the menu, plus a few fresh twists and surprises coming soon. "Primos is legendary in Danville and has a great soul," said Jimmy Jhanda. "We're not here to change that—we're here to protect it, refresh it, and make sure it's still around for the next 50 years." Jhanda sold and exited his wildly successful tech staffing franchise 12 months ago and retired. One goal during retirement, for both him, and his wife Jennifer was to make an investment in the local Danville community and Primo's checked all the boxes. Great Food. Energized Sports.
