So You Want A Cocktail? Our Readers' Choice Results are in!

The results for the top cocktail spot in Danville or Alamo are in and the winner, by eight votes, is the tried-and-true Elliott's Bar!

Since 1907, as the sign claims, Elliott's has been a local watering hole for Danvillies near and far. Even as more "upscale" joints popped up, even as some of the establishments got a little "fancier," Elliott's has stayed true to it's divey-ness.

And the voters, even though it was close, put Elliott's on top with . A close second was with 13 percent and in third was with 10 percent of the votes.

"No place like Elliott's. Still can get a truly cold bud, which has been sitting on ice!!" reader Michael Langner said.
