SRVHS New Classroom Building Open House
The community is invited to tour the new San Ramon Valley High School classroom building.
DANVILLE, CA - From San Ramon Valley Unified School District: The San Ramon Valley community is invited to visit the new classroom building on May 16, 2019, at an Open House to showcase the brand new, community-funded San Ramon Valley High School classroom building. The event will begin with a few remarks starting at 3:30 p.m. and be open to the public until 5 p.m. for tours. SRVHS is located at 501 Danville Blvd., Danville.
The first teachers are scheduled to move into their classrooms mid-May, with full occupancy expected by the start of school, Fall 2019. The classroom building is funded with Measure D dollars. Measure D is a $260 million bond measure passed by voters in 2012 for the purpose of providing San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) students with safe, modern 21st century learning environments.
The new 3-story building will house 52 classrooms. After the new building is complete, District staff will commence with the construction of the new parking lot between the building and the Iron Horse Trail, as well as restoring the athletic playfields where the temporary classrooms currently sit.
