Readers' Choice: Best Sporting Goods Results Are In!

The results are in and the readers' choice for best place to pick up some sporting goods is California Pedaler.

It was another slow readers' choice topic, .

California Pedaler received six of those votes. The shop also got one 5-star review.

Right behind it was Forward Motion Sports. It got five votes and one 5-star review.

Danville's sporting goods scene is more niche oriented. There are spots to pick up bikes and running gear and lacrosse, but there isn't the all-in-one monster shop like Big 5 in San Ramon or, even bigger, REI.

But, for what Danville has, it shook out like this:

There weren't too many comments. On came from Lara who said:

"My reason for voting for Alamo Bikes is because the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I have gone in there many times for tire tube changes, bike adjustments or simply to get the proper amount of air in my tires. Not only do they take care of you right away they stand behind their products if something is faulty. I hope you are able to use my review and vote for Alamo Bikes for the Readers Choice. Thank you."

Another thing we like to look at is reviews of establishments during the voting. We did get one review for Forward Motion!
