Town of Danville Hosting Retail Forum

Danville area retailers are invited to attend a March 5, 2015 forum intended to gather input regarding the formation of a Comprehensive Economic Development Plan for the Town of Danville.

The event, scheduled from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front St, will provide an overview of the economic plan process, discuss the latest retail developments in the East Bay, examine how the Internet is affecting Danville’s bricks-and-mortar retail, and describe how Danville stacks up against the competition.

Participants will have the opportunity to provide commentary on important choices for retail in Danville and offer input on goals for economic development and the opportunities and challenges associated with meeting those goals.
