Town Furlough Begins Christmas Day

Offices closed during annual furlough, limited building inspections held.

From the Town of Danville: Those looking to do business with the Town of Danville in the week between Christmas and New Year's Day will have only limited access as Town Offices will be closed for the annual mandatory furlough from December 25, 2017 through January 2, 2018.

During the week of furlough, the Danville Police Department business office will be open from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

In the Building Department, limited services will be available three days during the furlough, December 27, 2017, December 28, 2017, and December 29, 2017, and there will be limited building inspections made on an on-call or appointment basis.

Office staff will not be available and the front counter will be closed. In order to receive an inspection, residents must call (925) 314-3333 the day before the requested inspection and enter the 6 digit permit number and the 3 digit inspection code. Once the codes have been entered, wait until a confirmation number is generated.

To verify if an inspection is on the schedule and to speak to the inspection staff regarding a time-frame for the inspection, call (925) 314-3330 between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the scheduled inspection.
Normal business will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
