Traffic Advisory: Road Closures for Parade in Danville Thursday

Announcement submitted by Town of Danville:

Motorists are advised to expect brief delays later in the week when a short parade is scheduled in the downtown area. On Thursday, April 2, 2015, San Ramon Valley High School will be having a parade celebrating the recent Basketball State Championship by the SRVHS Wolves.

The parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. at SRVHS. It will proceed down Railroad Avenue, turn east onto Prospect Avenue and then return to the school via Hartz Avenue.

Streets will be temporarily closed while the parade moves through. Drivers are asked to use caution through the downtown area, watch for pedestrians and be prepared to stop while the parade is going through. The parade is expected to last 20 minutes.
