DANVILLE, CA — A rally to support President Donald Trump will be held in Danville this weekend. East Bay resident and organizer Patty O’Day said the group is made up of Bay Area people who support Trump.

The group is calling for all supporters to meet in Danville on the Sycamore Valley Road overpass above Interstate 680 at 1 p.m. on April 27. O’Day said the grassroots group rallied in the same location on behalf of Trump in 2016.

“Although many of us volunteered for Trump in 2016, the Trump campaign has not started in CA yet, but we are anxious, and want to get together,” O’Day told Patch. “We are just a group of people that want to get together and talk with a friendly crowd of Trump supporters and start organizing for the campaign, although it is a little early since Trump won't have any opposition to speak of in the Primary.”
