Who's Got the Best Donuts in Danville?

Two donut shops went head-to-head this week but only one came out on top.

The main event was Danville's versus Alamo's . And though it started off pretty even, Christy's Donuts, as the week went on, nearly doubled up the votes on Great Donuts.

in the poll and Christy's grabbed 49 of them, good for 62 percent. Great Donuts had a health showing, even though donuts aren't too healthy, with 29 votes, or 37 percent of the vote.

So, congratulations to Christy's Donuts for winning this week's readers' choice topic.

Though, I must admit, I never met a donut I didn't like.
