All-City Elementary Orchestra Student Volunteers with Dance Daze Davis

Davis All-City Elementary String Orchestra student, Lydia Chale, spends her weekends volunteering with children’s dance classes through Dance Daze® Davis. Lydia is a 4th-year violinist who loves the performing arts and working with children.

She is a certified baby-sitter and takes pride in caring for children in the way that parents ask. As a Dance Daze Class Aide, Lydia is learning educational techniques (such as positive reinforcement, public praise, creative transitions, providing clear instructions, accessing prior knowledge, etc.) that will assist her in leading her own classes as a music educator in the future. Dance Daze loves having Lydia as a class aide and looks forward to seeing what this talented and enthusiastic young lady will pursue later in life!

The Davis All-City Elementary String Orchestra will be performing on the north steps of the State Capitol on Thursday, May 21st at 9:00 am, in honor of the “Stand Up 4 Music” coalition day.
