Biz Partnership Announced for Davis Hyatt

A Denver company is partnerting up with Presidio Companies to run the .

Richfield Hospitality, Inc., has experience in university hotels and a partnership with the hotel's owner, Fairfield-based Presidio Companies.

"While the hotel has been operating well for some time, they saw an opportunity to perhaps enhance it that much more," Chris Daly, a spokesman for the project, said.

The 75-room Hyatt Place UC Davis is located on Old Davis Road near the Mondavi Center. Amenities at the hotel include high-definition TVs, a media center for plug-ins, Wi-Fi access and a pool.

Richfield Hospitality said in a news release that the partnership "spearheads our entry into the campus hotel niche."

"This contract marks the second hotel we manage for Presidio Companies and our first Hyatt Place property," Greg Mount, President of Richfield Hospitality, said in a news release.
