Hermit Cookies: I'm Into Something Good!
Soft, delicious spice cookies to welcome autumn!

Yes, I'm still here and still baking!! If you follow The Big Green Bowl on Facebook, you will see what I'm baking on a daily basis. For more recipes, check out the The Big Green Bowl blog!
I know it's still 90-something degrees outside, but I've got autumn on my mind and am eager to start baking those fall recipes!
This one fits the bill. It's a spice cookie that my mom used to bake. These are soft and moist and oh so good with a cup of coffee or tea... and you know I highly recommend cookies for breakfast! :-) The glaze adds just the right amount of sweetness.

Are you wondering about the name? Me too! It always makes me think of Herman's Hermits. For you youngins, that's a band from the 60s who did this groovy tune: Something Tells Me I'm Into Something Good
