Chris Proctor in Concert
U.S. National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship and popular Sugarhouse, Rounder, Flying Fish and Windham Hill recording artist

Davis Arts Center is pleased to present Chris Proctor in concert on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 7:30 pm, at 1919 F Street, in Davis. Proctor will also teach a workshop for guitar students at the Arts Center from 12-2pm the same day.
Renowned as one of the modern masters of fingerstyle guitar, Proctor is at the forefront of contemporary steel-string guitar. Since winning the National Fingerstyle Guitar competition, he has toured constantly in North America and Europe, releasing a steady stream of recordings of his compositions and arrangements. His music is rooted in classic Americana, spiced with soul, folk, Celtic, jazz, pop, and classical flavors, all of which are in evidence in the 9 finely-crafted medleys which comprise his latest solo album, Close and Personal Friends.
