City Of Davis: Covell Paving Complete - Sycamore, Oak And Anderson Paving On 10.28 Only

Great news! The main paving on Covell Blvd is complete! 

Tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 28, there will rolling paving work in the following areas off Covell:

• Anderson Rd just north of the Covell intersection (no entrance to Covell going south on Anderson)
• Oak Ave on the south side of the Covell intersection (work to start after school starts; no entrance to Covell going north on Oak)
• Sycamore Ln just north of Covell (no entrance to Covell going south on Sycamore)

Please use Alvarado Avenue or 14th Street/Villanova Drive to detour around these construction areas, and use the Covell entrance for the Marketplace if needed. This work near these intersections will be completed tomorrow. 

All paving work near 113 on and off ramps at Covell is complete.

After tomorrow, there will be follow-up striping work, traffic loop installation and raising utilities, but we’ll say it again, the main paving work is done! Thank you to the community for your patience and support as this road was paved.
