City Of Davis: F St Paving Closure From 6th St To Covell On Monday August 2 And Tuesday August 3

The City’s annual pavement project to improve Davis roads continues!

On Monday August 2, F St will be closed from 6th St. to 8th St. (intersection of F and 6th will be open; F Street will be closed to through traffic and on-street parking from just north of 6th Street to just north of the F Street and 8th Street intersection) during working hours (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). For those with homes or businesses on this segment of F St, limited access can be provided in and out of driveways during the work, however, there may be some delay if the construction is in front of or adjacent to the driveway. It is encouraged that residents and businesses attempt to park on an adjacent street or block when possible during working hours to avoid delays. Please check bus schedules for detours or changes to pick-up locations at bus stops in this work area.

 On Tuesday August 3, F St. will be closed intermittently north of the 8th Street intersection to Covell Blvd. between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Please expect delays and follow detour signs. Please check bus schedules for detours or changes to pick-up locations around bus stops in this work area.

Planned detours are:
Monday –
Detours will be to D, G and H Streets.

Tuesday –
Detours will be to B St. and J St. for the 8th-12th St. closure.
Detours will be to Oak Ave. and J Street for the 12th St. to Covell Blvd. closure.
