City Of Davis: Paving Improvement Update Week Of Aug. 23

The following work is scheduled for the week of August 23 as part of the annual summer pavement improvement project:

•Concrete repairs will occur on Emerald Bay Dr, Montgomery Ave and Vista Way during the week of Aug. 23. There may be parking impacts and shoulder closures on parts of these streets between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

•F St & 8th St - Traffic detection loops that are embedded in the street will be installed next week (scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 24). Expect delays. Traffic may be slower due to a lane closure. 

•NIGHT WORK Slurry seal touch-ups will be occurring on Wednesday, Aug. 25, at night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26. Areas include: First Street between A St and B St, Second St and H St, G Street at Third and Fourth, Second Street from E St to H St. None of this work requires a street closure. 

•Striping layout continues throughout the week on the newly paved downtown streets and F Street to Covell. Please watch for workers.
