DAVIS, CA -- The city has named the winners of its Best of Davis photo contest, in which it invited everyone ages six and up to enter their best images that showcase all that's unique and special about the Davis community.
A total of 143 entries were received in three different age categories; 6 to 11, 12 to 17, and 18 and up.
A team of judges scored each photo on the basis of five things: Overall Impression, Representation of Davis, Technical Quality, Composition and Creativity. Total scores were calculated to determine the selected photos in each category.

The following were recognized for Best of Show and being the first place recipients in each of the age groups:
Best of Show — David Jay Segal
18+ — Leland Wong
12–17 — Morgan Mooney-McCarthy
6–11 — Lilly Wagner
