Dance Daze Davis Spring Session Begins April 9th!

Dance Daze Davis has had successful programs in Davis, CA for over one year now! Moving into its second year offering dance education programs for children ages 2 to 12 in Davis, the Dance Daze Davis 2016 Spring Session begins on Saturday, April 9th at Fire Fit Fitness Studios. The Spring Session class offerings are listed below:

• Dance Daze® Creative Movement & Pre-Ballet (ages 2-4): Young girls and boys are introduced to basic dance terminology and positions in this class, while they develop an appreciation for dance and music through the use of props and movement-based activities.
• Dance Daze® Ballet/Jazz/Hip Hop Combo Class (ages 4-6): This is the perfect class for children who have advanced beyond the Creative Movement & Pre-Ballet class and would like to begin exploring performance genres of dance. Dancers will develop their balance, flexibility, and musicality while learning beginning ballet, jazz, and hip hop dance technique.
• Dance Daze® Classical Ballet (ages 6-12): In this beginning ballet class, students will learn foundational ballet technique and vocabulary, with a focus on improving strength, increasing turnout, developing proper alignment, transitioning to different positions, and avoiding injury.
• Dance Daze® Hip Hop & Jazz (ages 6-12): This combination class is great for beginning and intermediate dancers alike. In every class, we will stretch and practice combinations to help us warm-up, practice skills traveling across the dance floor, and learn choreography that incorporates elements of jazz and hip hop dance technique. We will dance to fun, kid-appropriate pop and hip hop music in this class.
