Davis Traffic Stop Yields Stolen Guns From Vacaville: Police

Foreign currency and jewelry also recovered, police said.

DAVIS, CA – The Davis Police Department on Monday night recovered stolen items and cash after conducting a traffic stop of an individual known to be on searchable probation and also currently listed as a missing person, according to authorities.

From inside the vehicle, officers located six stolen firearms, more than $4,000 in foreign currency, along with jewelry valued at more than $2,500, all reportedly taken in a home burglary in Vacaville, police said.

The subject, whom police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of burglary, grand theft, criminal possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia
