Diane Patterson will play a house
concert at the N-Street Common house on March 17th. Patterson is a singer/songwriter that performs folk/rock/alternative music that has
been described as “Joni Mitchell meets Ani DiFranco”. As a promoter
of sustainable living, upcycling, and open space technology, this
intimate performance is appropriately “green” for a St. Patrick’s Day
celebration. Throw in the folk music connection, and you might just
have the best way to celebrate the influence of Irish culture in Yolo
County! Patterson's work, while inspired by traditional and mystic
forms, remains true to her own personal vision. The result is heard
in her original songs, which create intimate spaces for our own
reflections and spiritual journeys.
