Free motor oil filter exchange event

Do you
change your own motor oil? Yolo County residents can come to any O’Reilly’s
Auto Parts or Auto Zone in Davis, West Sacramento and Woodland on Saturday,
June 23rd for a free filter exchange!



The oil filter exchange event is open to all Yolo County residents. Residents
must bring in a used motor oil filter for recycling for each new filter
exchanged. Limit 2 exchanges per resident, while supplies last. New filter must
be comparable in quality and cost to the used oil filter brought in.
Participating stores may ask you to fill out a pledge form before exchanging
the filter.



Most people don't know that used oil filters contain oil and metal that can
still be recycled. And oil doesn't wear out, it just gets dirty. That means it
can be re-refined over and over again. So, when changing your oil, recycle it
and don't forget the filter!

(CalRecycle).
