Mosaic Tea & Coffee Open House

Davis Community Church Exploratory Committee invites the community to join them on June 23rd from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in DCC Fellowship Hall (421 D Street) for the first Mosaic Tea & Coffee Open House. Information about the project along with free tea, coffee and baked goods from Happy Cup:  Coffee Roasted by People with Potential, 52 Teas and Love Baked will be provided.

Mosaic is a proposed collaborative, nonprofit Tea & Coffee Shop that provides job training for adults with disabilities as well as an environment for them to share their gifts with the community. Still in the Exploratory Phase, Mosaic would also provide the community with an innovative social enterprise, a music/arts venue, a space for community gatherings and community-centered conversations, and a venue conducive to families with young children.  Mosaic plans to operate using a "gift economy" system, where patrons can receive a free cup of tea or coffee along with an invitation to "pay it forward" to the next person.  Every person, regardless of income, would be able to enjoy the same high quality products at Mosaic Tea & Coffee.

Join us in exploring the possiblilities! Just follow the signs outside of DCC's campus to share in the vision for this wonderful collaborative community venture.
