This free event features performers of all levels and creative expressions, and is held the 4th Monday of each month (except December).
Sign-up begins at 6:45 p.m., with sign-up performances from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Featured acts perform from 8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The featured act for September is a new acoustic trio, Notre Fille, performing contemporary American folk songs, and swing and samba classics, featuring ethereal three-part harmonies. The trio’s signature sound is an organic vocal blend that reflects the deep friendship among its members. Notre Fille is UC Davis voice major Kat Bowden on vocals and guitar; Bay Area musician Debbie Cox on vocals and guitar; and Davisite Jamie Knapp, on vocals and string bass; with special guest instrumentalists Rick Palkovic on mandolin and guitar, and Goran Muhlert on percussion.
