Davis Makerspace Repair Cafe 2/12 11am - 8pm.

DAVIS, CA - February 2nd 2017 - The Davis Makerspace presents a repair cafe
at its space in its space in the Tim Spencer Alley, see:

from 11am to 8pm. Our volunteers will provide
help, while you research (lmgtfy, ifixit, youtube), and repair your
item, with available tools and parts. The DMS has a selection of
power and traditional hand tools, electronics tools, 3d printers, and
a few other things.

Our claim to expertise is mostly in software, Internet, and computer
realm, but we are all game, if you are, to empower you to take charge
and repair. That one thing which needs a new electrical cord, a
diagnosis or guidance, or a 3d printed replacement part. This is free
and open to the public, but donations are accepted in support of
Davis Makerspace.

Repairing is a sustainable and conscious act that provides the benefits of
education, environmental stewardship, and self reliance. Repairing
things with others can be fun.
