Nominate Davis’s 2012 Businesses of the Year

You are invited to nominate the business or organization of your choice for the Sixteenth Annual Bill Streng Business of the Year Award. This award is designed to recognize members of the business community who exemplify the qualities of excellence, service, innovation and creativity in business, industry or the community. Candidates can be nominated by individuals, service organizations or by a business. Candidates do not need to be members of the Davis Chamber of Commerce to be considered.
 
Nomination forms are due by 5pm, Friday, April 20^th to the Davis Chamber of Commerce in person at 604 Third St., Davis, California 95616, by fax, (530) 756-5190, or by e-mail at communications@davischamber.com
 
Nominees will be judged on the following criteria:

• Demonstration of creativity and innovation
• Demonstration of socially responsible and ethical business practices
• Ongoing support and promotion of the community
• Demonstration of excellent customer service 

Nomination Instructions:

Candidates may be nominated by individuals, service and business organizations, or by a business. Nomination forms should be typed or handwritten.

Each nomination MUST include the following:

• Nominee’s full name, address, telephone number and email address
• Person submitting the nomination package should include their own full name, title, name of business/organization, business address, telephone number and email address.
• Submit a one page letter, detailing the reason for the nomination and the nominee’s accomplishments and activities, making sure all areas of criteria are addressed.
