This is not the way to get girls.  At The Ket Moree Thai Restaurant, a young man passed out in front of a bunch of girls. Some of them tried to help him by knocking his head to consciousness. “He is not our friend. We just didn’t want him to get arrested,” they said.  No one tried to give him a kiss.

A dog is man’s best friend.  They are often excited to see you.  They also protect your FedEx package from thieves.  A small dog apparently bit a delivery person en route to Locust Place.  The driver whose leg was gnawed by the dog declined medical attention.  He said that the dog didn’t mean it. He simply wanted to play.

Uh-oh. Someone forgot the baby. A two-year-old wearing a diaper was found wandering the parking lot of the Chaparral Apartments on Sycamore Lane.   There was still no sign of her mother when police recovered the baby.

A clerk was caught with paint in her hands.  Apparently she pocketed $55 worth of clothing, jewelry, and sunglasses from Target on 2nd Street. The store kept the loot.  She lost her job.  Stealing was not worth it.

A painter was paid for not doing his work.  A woman on Lassen Place said she hired a handyman to paint her house.  He cashed all her checks.  He also stole her ladder, brushes and other equipment. He came back to resolve things but she later declined his services. "He was not handy after all," she said.
