Praying Mantis On The Move: Davis Photo Of The Week
Patch loves photos! Share your photos with Patch and your work could be featured.

DAVIS, CA – This is a fascinating close-up of an orchid praying mantis, submitted by Patch reader Kathy Keatley Garvey, that is one of many praying mantises that UC Davis entomology major Lohitashwa “Lohit” Garikipati will display at UC Davis Biodiversity Museum Day on Feb. 17.
His display will be at the Bohart Museum of Entomology. Twelve other museums or collections will be open that day. Read more on the event -- could be a nice outing for the family!
If you have an awesome photo of nature, breath-taking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we'd love to feature it on Patch.
