RootStock spreads holiday cheer with music, art and more this weekend

Art, vendors and music by Xochitl and Andrew Castro on Sat. Dec. 6th, 3-5pm

On Saturday, Dec. 6th from 2-5pm, RootStock is hosting a Holiday and Art Open House before the Downtown Winters tree lighting ceremony. During this time there will be olive oil and honey tasting by local vendors, a local massage therapist helping out with holiday stress and artist’s from the “Small Works” Exhibition. The “Small Works” Exhibition is a group exhibition where all the pieces are smaller than 12” by 12”. Don’t let the small canvas fool you, these works have as much talent and expression as a mural! The artist’s participating in the exhibition will be there to discuss their work with patrons. From 3-5pm, we will also be hosting musicians, Xochitl and Andrew Castro, to set a festive mood amongst the vendors and exhibition. Xochitl is a pint-sized powerhouse that brings an acoustic flavor to many pop favorites and her soulful renditions of folk songs. She will be performing along with San Francisco indie musician, Andrew Castro.
