Free 'Vote California' App Available for Download
Your personal voter status, your polling place, and more are all available at your fingertips.

Before heading to the polls on Nov. 8, Californians will be able to access crucial voting information on their smartphones with one single app, the California Secretary of State's office announced Tuesday.
The free Vote California app is now available for iPhone and Android users, Secretary of State Alex Padilla's office said.
While residents can't vote with the app, they will be able to find important voting information at their fingertips.

"Whether you need to look up your polling place, check your voter status or learn about what's on the ballot, this app is another tool voters can use to get informed before the November 8 General Election," Padilla said
in a statement.
Voters can download the Vote California app via Apple's App Store or by using Google Play.

The app was developed and launched by Padilla's office, along with the Pew Charitable Trusts and California counties, according to Padilla's office.
