Sharon Bladholm will give a PowerPoint talk exploring the interfaces of art and science as it relates to her work in many mediums, including sculptural work in glass bronze and ceramic and works on paper. She will also discuss how her participation as artist on scientific expeditions to the Amazon has deeply influenced her work, exploring themes of the natural world, botany, science, rain forests and conservation.
