These restaurants offer meals that are appealing not only to the taste buds, but also to the wallet. 

, a Mexican restaurant with locations on 640 W. Covell and 417 Mace Blvd., has a breakfast burrito that comes with sides of rice, beans, and a coffee or soda all for $1.99. For no extra charge, they will put the meat of your choosing inside the burrito too.

, a Vietnamese restaurant located at 229 G St., serves several different types of Banh Mi -- Vietnamese sandwiches served in a roll with vegetables and meat.  The sandwhich is $2.50 for all meats other than fish patty, which will run you $2.75. Sunrise has a $5 minimum on credit and debit cards so bring either cash or a friend.

offers a large plate of fried house potatoes for $2.25. Match the potatoes with the various sauces Crepeville has to offer and you have a diverse set of filling flavors. 

El Mariachi, at 400 G St., serves a tortilla soup garnished with cheese for the same price as the potatoes. If you don't see the $2.49 soup on the menu, don't worry. Just mention it and they will be happy to bring you a bowl. 

Kim's Mart, located at 614 4th St. next to Natural Food Works, has an 18-piece Korean Sushi roll for $2.99. Although not warm, 18 pieces of sushi is certainly going to make you forget about the cold.
