Sunflower Images With A Nikon: Davis Photos Of The Day

Take a moment to stop and see the flowers.

DAVIS, CA — Sandipan Samaddar, a postdoctoral fellow at the Scow Lab, University of California, Davis, Department of Land Air & Water Resources, shared two amazing images of sunflowers in Davis. Below, he shares information about each photo.

"The sunflower closeup and full was captured on June 20, 2020 at a field in Davis located beside the Wildhorse golf club on E Covell Blvd. The closeup was captured using a Nikon D610 with 70-200mm lens at 200mm, f/4, ISO 400, 1/250 sec.
"The full capture was at 200mm using the same lens at f/2.8, ISO 250, 1/30 sec."

Thank you so much, Sandipan, for sharing your phenomenal work with Patch readers!
