Train Hero Spencer Stone Released From Hospital Following Stabbing
Stone thanked the medical team at UC Davis, along with family and well-wishers from around the world.

The American hero credited with helping stop a terrorist attack aboard a train in France, U.S. Air Force Airman Spencer Stone, was released from the hospital today after being treated for stab wounds.
Stone was stabbed in the back three times during an altercation outside a Sacramento bar earlier this month.

Stone released a statement upon his release, “Thanks very much to the first responders and the team here at UC Davis Medical Center for taking such good care of me. Thanks, also, to my amazing family and friends for their love and support. And, thanks to everyone who has sent encouragement during this challenging time. I’m focused now on healing and recovering and look forward to the next part of my journey.”

No arrests have been made in Stone’s stabbing. The suspects are described as two Asian men wearing white shirts and blue jeans. They are believed to have fled in a dark-colored 2009 - 2012 Toyota Camry.
