40 Under 40 Honorees-A Salute to 40 Outstanding San Diegans

Susan Swan of Gruenberg Law has been recognized for her achievements by being included in San Diego Metro Magazine’s 2014 “40 Under 40 Award”.  Each year, San Diego Metro Magazine honors some of the best and brightest minds of San Diego County by naming them to their “40 under 40” list.  Now in its fifteenth year, the 40 under 40 list continues to showcase leaders in the San Diego community.  Susan was awarded this honor due to her exceptional community involvement and professional achievements.

Susan is honored to have been recognized for the “40 under 40 Award” in San Diego.  Susan was recently elected to the Board of Directors Of Lawyers Club of San Diego.  Susan credits Josh Gruenberg of Gruenberg Law “for being a steadfast supporter of Lawyers Club, and for not only supporting me, but also encouraging and nurturing me in deepening my involvement in Lawyers Club of San Diego.  As a Board Member, I hope to contribute to empowering all members to earn more money, more recognition, and more career satisfaction.”

Her practice is dedicated to fighting discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation and unequal pay.  Among her many achievements, Susan represented a plaintiff terminated due to her pregnancy, receiving a six figure settlement.  Susan is passionate about cultivating talent and fostering innovation through collaboration.  She manages and mentors several other attorneys at Gruenberg Law and is an active member of the mentor committee for California Employment Lawyers Association, where she matches new attorneys with veteran attorneys.
