Accident on 1-5 Southbound Near Lomas Santa Fe Backing Up Traffic
California Highway Patrol said the accident at 9:44 a.m., Tuesday involved a big rig truck and two vehicles.

California Highway Patrol reported an accident with injuries on southbound Interstate 5 near the Lomas Santa Fe exit in Solana Beach Tuesday morning.
A CPH officer said the accident involved a big rig truck and two other vehicles at 9:44 a.m. He said tow trucks were called in to remove the vehicles blocking the two left lanes of traffic, but as of 10:25 traffic was still moving slow. The cause of the accident had not been determined by this time as well.
