Another North County School Has Electronics Stolen
Six Apple iMac computers and a projector were reported stolen from Solana Santa Fe Elementary School in Rancho Santa Fe on Thursday.

For the second time this month, thieves forced their way into a Rancho Santa Fe primary school early today and made off with thousands of dollars worth of high-end electronics.
Deputies responding to a burglary alarm about 4 this morning discovered the break-in at Solana Santa Fe Elementary in the 6500 block of El Apajo, according to sheriff's officials.
A school staffer sent to assess the losses told investigators six Apple iMac computers and a projector were missing.

Sometime between July 1 and last Friday, seven of the same model of desktop computer were stolen at Diegueno Country School in the 15600 block of Circo Diegueno Road.
In both instances, the burglars made entry through broken windows. The monetary loss in each case exceeded $9,000, authorities said.

No suspects have been identified.
San Diego County Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $1,000 for tips about the burglaries. Anyone with information about them was asked to contact the agency at 888-580-8477. Callers may remain anonymous.
Earlier this year, three men accused in the thefts of iPads and other electronic devices from nine San Diego County schools, including Del Mar Heights, were ordered to stand trial on charges of burglary and receiving stolen property.
