Armed Robbery at Papa John's Pizza in Carmel Valley

San Diego Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place at Papa John's Pizza on Friday night.

An unknown man entered the Papa John's Pizza in Carmel Valley Friday night, displayed a handgun and demanded cash, according to San Diego Police.

Ofc. David Stafford said the suspect entered the business on the 3800 block of Valley Centre Drive at 10:55 p.m. and fled with the cash in a white car.

Police described the suspect as a black male in his mid 20s, 5 foot 10, muscular and wearing a red shirt.

No injuries were reported.

Police are investing the crime.
