Funding of the Campaigns from Forms 460 for the period ending 09/30/12
The figures are out. On Friday, October 5 all campaigns filed their fund-raising figures for the period ending 09/30. These figures show a sharp contrast between the Yes on J committee versus the Committee to Save Olde Del Mar.
The Yes on J committee had 21 donors while the No on J had 54. The range of contributions for Yes was $100 to $2500 with 38% at or over $1000, while the No on J had a range of $25 to $1000 with only 1.85% at $1000.
The average contribution for Yes was $778.95, while No was $234.74.
