Canvassing in Del Mar

Experience on Canvassing Del Mar for NO on Prop J

Today, October 13, I walked for the fifth time the streets of Del Mar knocking on most every registered voters door.  Most of the people are not home, but for those that I talk with most are going to vote NO on Prop J.  I have knocked on at least 700 doors and spoken to about 150 people.  Out of these 150 people about 30 will be voting yes and about 90 will be voting NO and the rest are undecided.  For those I do not get to speak to, I leave a door hanger with a personal note.

Normally, I don't even need to persuade anyone to vote NO as I first ask "what is your opinion?"  They are relived to find out that my opinion is also "NO."

I have three more weekends to finish my goal of knocking on almost every registered voter's door in Del Mar.
