Prop J in Olde Del Mar

The proponents cite the over 90 meetings held by the City to develop Prop J and to educate the voters of Del Mar about Prop J.  Unfortunately, as I knock on every registered voter's door in Del Mar, I am having a difficult time finding people that are not going to Vote NO. 

It was my belief that the people that were for the Village Specific Plan packed the audiences with their supporters at most of the meetings.  The people that did not like the plan were shut out of the process early.

For me, I thought the process was incorrect from the beginning as only alternatives that would make major changes were presented.  Ultimately, Prop J is too much overdevelopment and will ruin the competitive advantage that Del Mar has over other areas in San Diego County - a place of human scale.
