A recycling drop-off event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 30 at the lower parking lot of Shores Park on Stratford Court opposite Little Orphan Alley.Del Mar residents and businesses can take advantage of free document shredding and collection of compact fluorescent bulbs and used batteries.Residents only can dispose of sharps (syringes, lancets or needles) and medications (non-controlled).
