Couple Bound by Bacon and Love to Say 'I Do' at SD County Fair

A local couple will go whole hog at the Bit Bite Bacon Festival at the Del Mar Fairgrounds this weekend with a wedding ceremony.

Their arteries may clogged, but their hearts are full of love. Adrienne Dunvan and Eddie Quinones of Vista will be married at the Big Bite Bacon Fest at the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar on Sunday.

The bacon-themed nuptials will have bacon aisle runners, guest will throw bacon bits instead of rice, and the couple will be served bacon fare with many other swine treats.

The ceremony will be presided over by local radio DJ Jesse Lozano of Star 94.1 and a bacon-clad wedding party.

And San Diego's Donut Bar will be providing the grooms cake, a giant maple donut, covered in bacon.

The festival features local chefs, unlimited tastings of bacon infused dishes, craft beers and live entertainment. Tickets can be purchased online.

After the ceremony the couple is headed on a baconmoon. The SD Fair reported that the couple will journey to Pigtown Historic District in Southeast Baltimore, once the bacon hub of the United States in the early 1900s. The trip includes visits to Baltimore's dining and entertainment attractions, and the pork-de-resistance: VIP access to the 12th Annual Pigtown Festival featuring Squeakness, The Running of the Pigs.

Jet Blue has helped pigs fly (is the official airline sponsor for the Big Bite Bacon Fest wedding.)

All Big Bite Bacon Fest attendees are invited to the wedding. All you need is love and a love of bacon... don't go bacon my heart.
