Del Mar to Hold Public Auction for Surplus City Hall Items

Here's more information about the type of items the city plans to auction off this Saturday.

Del Mar, CA — The city of Del Mar is holding a public auction Saturday as it prepares for the demolition of its existing City Hall to make way for a new one. 

As of this week, City Hall has been temporarily relocated to Suite 120 of Southfair, located at 2010 Jimmy Durante Blvd., while the new City Hall/Town Hall is under construction. 

Surplus equipment will be auctioned off at the event slated for 11 a.m. Saturday at 1050 Camino del Mar, the site of the existing City Hall.

The city will be selling off items such as TVs, monitors, lighting and video equipment, desks, tables, chairs, filing cabinets, shelves, dry erase boards, fans, space heaters and other pieces of miscellaneous office equipment. 

Only cash will be accepted, and buyers must be able to take their purchased items with them at the time of sale.
