Del Mar: Night Work At Railroad Crossing - July 24-26

Concrete panels at the Coast Boulevard railroad crossing are scheduled for replacement between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The existing panels are at the end of their useful life and must be replaced to provide a track crossing that is safe for pedestrians and motorists.

The work is expected to create noise from heavy equipment and glare from construction lights. It is scheduled for evening hours when train and pedestrian traffic is lightest.
