Etain is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 7-1/2-year-old, 13-pound, female, Domestic Medium Hair cat with a Brown Tabby coat. She’s named after the mythological maiden, Etain, who was renowned for her beauty.
Etain was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from a rescue partner in Riverside County in 2019 through FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters.) She received treatment for a skin condition, then went into foster care. Six months later, she went into another foster home. Now she’s ready for her forever home.
The $75 adoption fee for Etain includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip. If the adopter is 60 years or older, a benefactor will pay the adoption fee for them.

Once the deliveries are scheduled Santa Paws, his helper, and a photojournalist from CBS News 8 will load up the sleigh (or the RCHS van) and head out over the river and through the woods.
