Israeli Dance Troupe for 5th-8th Graders. Fun Cultural and Social Program With Performance Opportunities

The Tarbuton Israeli Dance Troupe has been a presence in San Diego since 2009 with a group of dancers performing year round at Israeli Festivals, the House of Israel at Public School international days and in area events.

We’re encouraging dancers ages 5th-8th grade to join us again this year. Rehearsals begin September 7, 2014.

Dance instruction to Israeli contemporary and classic music. The instructors focus on balance, strength, flexibility, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical and creative movement, all with Israeli music, and lots of fun.

Performing in San Diego since 2009. All dancers are required to have consistent attendance and to commit to rehearsals once a week on Sundays. The students will work on several dance numbers to contemporary Israeli music with performances for parents and various venues including the Yom Haatzmaout, San Diego Celebrates Israel Festival in May and the annual Lawn Event at the House of Israel.

1 hour rehearsals on Sundays: Building Jewish and Israeli identity through dance. These performers bring their passion for Israel to audiences throughout San Diego through high-quality choreography, to Israeli classics and modern “Top 40″ Israeli music, the Dance Troupe performs at Israel and non Israel related events year round.
