Motorist Found Dead on Interstate 5 Identified as Oceanside Man
The man was found just north of Del Mar Heights Road.

A 35-year-old Oceanside man was found dead Monday in a crumpled car on an embankment alongside Interstate 5 in the Carmel Valley area.
California Highway Patrol officers discovered the wrecked auto on the east side of the freeway, just north of Del Mar Heights Road, about 7:30 a.m., according to the Medical Examiner's Office.

Investigators believe the fatal accident involved only one vehicle and occurred early Sunday morning, according to the county agency.
The deceased man's identity was withheld pending family notification.
